Operating from Toowoomba, Springfield, Ipswich and Stanthorpe, USQ also provides significant online education, delivering its courses globally. Additionally, the University has a presence in Sydney and relationships with major offshore partners.

USQ’s close association with industries and communities ensures its programs are current and relevant and that its graduates have all the knowledge and skills required to make them work ready. Its educational offerings include programs and courses that reflect the changing needs of society with extensive course offerings in business, education, law and arts along with health, engineering and the sciences.

In 2016, nearly 30,000 students from 92 countries studied a diverse range of programs through on-campus, online delivery or with overseas education partners. The University has earned an international reputation for the support it provides to overseas students and this was reconfirmed when the University was named the top university in Australia for international student satisfaction by the International student barometer survey.

The University’s graduates are strongly sought after in the workplace and we are proud to be the No. 1 university in Australia for graduate employability*.

USQ also achieved the highest possible ratings in Australia for graduate salaries and in the important areas of student support and, for the second year in a row, social equity*.

With a clear strategic focus, the USQ is committed to being among the world’s leading research bodies in a number of core areas. Our institutes and centres focus the University’s strengths through multi-disciplinary research programs to tackle national and global challenges affecting agriculture, natural resource management, and people living and doing business in regional areas. The Australian national research evaluation framework# identified USQ as having 14 fields of research codes rated at or above world standard.

In 2017, USQ will celebrate 50 years as a higher education institution and 25 years as a university. We are proud of our achievements and strong commitment to excellence in education, research and student support.
