IFIM Business School, the oldest school of CDE, has been ranked amongst the top Business Schools in the country by many distinguished and renowned business magazines and journals. With a campus strategically placed in Electronics City, Bangalore, one of India’s largest Electronic industrial parks, IFIM College provides holistic education. Along with its unique academic delivery model, IFIM College focuses on employability skills of the students.

IFIM College looks for candidates with intellectual curiosity coupled with a desire to stretch in a rigorous academic program as well as personal qualities to contribute in many activities of the institution. The potential to succeed as a leader in a competitive and global business environment is also central to its admissions criteria. IFIM welcomes applicants regardless of religion, gender or financial status with an aim to build an exciting, dynamic and diverse student community.

Course	Eligibility criteria
MBA	Students seeking admission to the MBA Program should have passed Bachelor’s degree / Masters degree examination of any recognized education body in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering / Technology or equivalent, and have secured at least 50% of marks in the aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidate). Must have scored well in any one of the national level entrance examinations, viz., CAT, XAT, MAT, GMAT etc.
M.Com.	Candidates who have passed the 3 year B.Com. / B.B.M. degree examination of Bangalore University or any other University considered as equivalent thereto, provided they have obtained not less than 50% (45% for sc/st/category-1 candidates) marks in the aggregate in Commerce subjects.

 

UG Courses

Course	Eligibility criteria
BBA	Candidates should have passed XII standard/PUC or equivalent there to as prescribed by Bangalore University.
BCA	Candidate must pass 2 years PUC or equivalent examination in Science, Arts or Commerce streams with minimum 35% of marks. Candidate who has passed JODC or Diploma in Engineering with minimum 35% of aggregate marks in all semesters.
BA - JPE	Candidates should have passed XII standard/PUC or equivalent there to as prescribed by Bangalore University
B.Com.	Candidates must pass 2 years Pre-University examination of Karnataka State or equivalent. Candidates who have passed Diploma in Secreterial/ Commercial practice conducted by Board of Technical Examination, Karnataka may also be eligible for admission directly to the 2nd year of B.Com. degree. Candidates who have passed Diploma in Business Administration conducted by Directorate of Technical Education, Karnataka may also be eligible for admission directly to the 1st year of B.Com. degree.

Accommodation

The hostel is located on a lush two acre campus and in close proximity to the main campus. Transportation to and from the hostel is available at the campus. The hostel campus is completely Wi-Fi enabled and has well equipped spacious rooms, made available on first-come-first-serve basis. Facilities for indoor and outdoor sports like Football, Cricket, TT, Carrom, Chess, Shuttle Badminton and Gym are made available for the students. The hostel assures a comfortable stay for the students during the course of study. The facilities make the hostel a home away from home.
