The Acupuncture diploma program provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the entry-level standards of practice set by the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO). Eligibility


Admission details

Applicants must meet ONE of the following requirements to be granted admission to this program:

- OSS Curriculum: OSSD or equivalent with Grade 12 English (C), or (U), (ENG4C, ENG4U); plus Grade 11 C or U Biology or Grade 12 U biology (SBI3U/C, SBI4U). Also recommended: Grade 11 U Chemistry or Grade 12 C or U Chemistry (SCH3U, SCH4C, SCH4U).

- Academic and Career Entrance Certificate (ACE) program with: Communications, Biology

- Ontario High School Equivalency Certificate (GED) (meets English requirements, not sciences)

- Mature applicant with standing in the required courses and/or mature student testing that meets the minimum standards for admission
