About Us
GBS is a higher education provider specialising in a range of sector-relevant courses, leading to globally-renowned qualifications at campuses in Dubai, the United Kingdom and Malta. Our partnerships with leading higher education providers enable us to deliver vocational, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in banking, finance, accounting, business, tourism, healthcare – and more.
We want our students to thrive in today’s competitive job market, so our excellent links to employers and bespoke academic and career guidance are essential for giving our students the edge in their future careers. Our learning environments are inclusive spaces, just like our approach to recruiting students. We want to widen the access to higher education among groups currently under-represented in the sector.
Students taking our GBS courses earn internationally recognised qualifications that are accepted around the world. In the UAE, GBS Dubai is authorised by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) and our academic qualifications are all certified by KHDA and recognised in the Emirate of Dubai by all public and private entities.
Our History
GBS started life in 2010 as a training centre specialising in finance and investment banking, offering courses to students from around the world. Over the last 11 years, we've evolved and grown with the ability to impact more lives through education than ever before.
In 2016, we opened our first campus, in London’s iconic East End and that milestone still defines who we are as an institution today. As one of the city’s most economically deprived areas, we quickly realised the positive and long-lasting impact we could have on communities by reaching out to those from backgrounds who usually wouldn't consider this path.
We partnered with several UK universities that shared our vision, allowing us to add more academic disciplines to our portfolio. We continued to offer finance and banking courses, but added business management and healthcare programmes more recently, providing even more opportunities for our students.
Fast-forward to 2021 and we have campuses in Malta and Dubai, as well as campuses in the UK’s biggest and most exciting cities – London, Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds. With thousands of students studying with us, the GBS journey has only just begun.

Our student accommodation provider building is only a 20-minute bus ride from Dubai Knowledge Village. With a total capacity of 400 beds - our mission is to provide our students with a home away from home where they feel safe and comfortable while they pursue their education in Dubai.
Students will take advantage of outstanding on-site facilities like 24/7 reception & security as well as an on-site gym. Our students can choose between Single & Twin Studios OR twin bedrooms in shared apartments where they share facilities like Kitchen & Bathroom with max. 4 students per cluster – the perfect way to join an international student community.

Twin Bedroom In Shared Apartment
Al Khail Gate, Building 11, Phase 1
Each Apartment/Cluster consists of 2 bedrooms (Twin Occupancy) and a shared Kitchen & Bathroom to be shared between a total of 4 students. Each bedroom has two single beds, two study desks, two chairs and two wardrobes. Rooms also have high speed internet, air conditioning and a balcony.
Single and Twin Studio Apartments
Al Khail Gate, Building 11, Phase 1
Enjoy maximum privacy with our one-bedroom studio apartment,single or twin occupancy. Each studio comes with one or two (depending on if it's single or a twin studio) single bed, study desk, chair,wardrobe, a kitchenette, and an en-suite bathroom. Rooms also have high speed internet, air conditioning and a balcony. Kitchenettes come with a fridge, kettle, and microwave.
Food And Drink
There are cooking facilities available in the kitchen for you to enjoy during your stay. There is the Al Khail Community centre a 5-minute walk away. The centre is home to budget restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores.
