In this holistic and skills focused building design course you will gain the skills to work in an architectural practice or building design company. You will learn to prepare detailed drawings and specification documentation that meet building regulations, specifications and construction techniques using the latest software programs. The course will give you a sound understanding of energy efficiency, safety, ergonomics and sustainable design. Projects ranging from Residential to Commercial will give you an appreciation for the design principles of form, materials and finishes and the design process.
