Internationality & Interculturality
Internationality and interculturality are of central importance to BAU International Berlin. In Berlin - one of the most important international metropolises - students and lecturers from all over the world learn together how to deal productively with the challenges of our increasingly globalized world. For our internationally oriented lecturers and students, classes are taught in English in all study programs. In order to further improve the international career opportunities of our students, we offer additional language courses as elective courses. A core area of all our study programs are the General Vocational Preparation (ABV) courses, where students acquire practical job-related skills in areas such as presentation techniques,

Our goal is to provide our students with an innovative and hands-on study that further enhances their cultural and language skills. A good support ratio through a high number of lecturers and staff allows us the individual support and personal advice of our students. Due to the English-language and interdisciplinary study, our students acquire excellent international career opportunities.

In addition to focusing on the practical training of our students, BAU International Berlin - University of Applied Sciences also sets itself apart from other universities through its equally strong focus on excellence in research. For this reason, BAU International Berlin incorporates an independent research institute right next to its founding , which is located directly next to the two faculties. At the research institute, members of BAU International Berlin work together with international colleagues and partner institutions on modern research projects in the fields of design, economics and social sciences.
Enver Yücel - Founder BAU Global Education Network
Enver Yücel is the founder of BAU International Berlin - University of Applied Sciences and chairman of the BAU Global Education Network. The network consists of various educational institutions worldwide, such as universities and colleges, higher education branches and academic centers. The institutions within the network offer learning opportunities in international contexts as well as opportunities to acquire intercultural experiences and competences - in line with the motto "education beyond borders". Envel Yücel's approach to higher education includes a golabe perspective that allows transformative influence on individuals and societies.
Enver Yücel is well-known in Turkey and around the world for his continued efforts to develop education. For his contributions to the global education sector, Enver Yücel was honored in December 2014 by the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Mr. Ban-Ki Moon, with the "Special Award for Global Education" of the Association of United Nations Accredited Correspondents. (UNCA) awarded.

All applicants for all programs must apply electronically through our online portal. Please fill out the online application step by step and upload all necessary documents. As soon as your online application is completed, your documents will be evaluated. Our programs in design require a portfolio in addition to all documents. This is followed by a registration interview. Here you will find all the necessary documents to complete your application.
