Courses
Admission
Academic Requirements: You should have successfully completed a first academic degree in any discipline with a German GPA of minimum 2.5 (US system: 3.0/4.0 or better).
Work Experience: You should have gathered minimum two years of professional work experience after graduation. However, under certain conditions, you may also be admitted with less experience depending on your past achievements. Please contact the MBA Program Advisor for further information.
Personal Qualities: You should have managerial and leadership potential, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a high degree of maturity and motivation. Furthermore, you should be able to contribute to class learning in the program and show evidence that the MBA will add value to an already successful career.
English Proficiency Tests
You must proof your English skills by passing one of the following language tests:
TOEFL iBT: min. 90 (min. of 22 in writing band, min. of 20 in all other bands; MBS TOEFL Institution Code: 5772)
IELTS: min. level of 6.5 – Academic Module
ELS English for Academic Purposes: Advanced Level 112
Test results can only be accepted if achieved within the last two years. If you are unable to obtain your test results before handing in your MBS application, please advise us of your planned test date.
Test Waiver
The English proficiency test can be waived by the following candidates:
- Applicants having completed their schooling in English (i.e., High School Diploma, IB)
- Applicants having completed their first academic degree in English
A further admission requirement to the MBA International Management is the GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) or GRE (Graduate Record Examination). These are standardized testing methods specifically assessing your analytical, mathematical, and linguistic skills. The required minimum score for the GMAT is 600.
Instead of passing the GMAT or GRE, you may also complete the Pre-MBA International Management at Munich Business School. At the end of this five-week preparatory program (late July-August), you will pass the MBA Admission Test and gain direct entry into the MBA International Management program.
