SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences is a private, state-recognised and accredited university with locations in Berlin, Dresden and Hamburg. Six schools combine modern management and entrepreneurship, media and creative industries, technology and IT, music and sound design in modern German and English-language courses. At the SRH universities, students learn in a purposeful and independent manner according to the specially developed study concept CORE (Competence Oriented Research and Education). In compact scientifically and practice-based thematic units the students are qualified for professional life by activating teaching as well as competence-oriented exams. The SRH Hochschule Heidelberg is state recognized and accredited by the German Science Council. We belong to the SRH Group, a leading private provider of educational and health-care services with more than 16,000 employees. SRH runs private universities, vocational training centers, schools and hospitals all over Germany.

Please note that no proof of German language skills is required for our English-taught study programmes.

Please submit one of the following language tests when you apply online:

• TOEFL 87 ibt (direct entry)
• TOEFL 79 - 86 ibt (with additional agreement)
• TOEIC 785 (Listening/Reading 785, Speaking 160, Writing 150)
• IELTS (academic) 6.5 average - please see Language Centre guidelines if results differ
• CAE (grade A, B, or C)
• CPE (grade A, B or C)
• FCE (grade A, B or C)
• Pearson English Test Academic (PTE-A) 59 points
• Linguaskill: 176 - 184 (CES) - all four skills required

We are currently also accepting the following tests in times of Covid-19:

• Duolingo Certificate: 95 Points
• TOEFL Special Home Edition: 87 ibt
• IELTS Indicator: 6.5 overall
