Hochschule Stralsund - University of Applied Sciences (HOST) is a young and innovative campus university specialising in technical and commercial fields. It provides 2,400 students with ideal conditions for successful studies. Student living in Stralsund

Have you successfully enrolled or applied at the Stralsund University of Applied Sciences? Now the search for the right living space begins.

Whether it's a student dormitory, shared apartment or the first apartment of your own, you make this decision yourself and should keep an eye on both your own wishes and your wallet. Stralsund offers extremely favorable conditions here - apart from overpriced rents and a highly competitive real estate market, as in other study locations and metropolises. 

As a campus university, HOST offers one of the most charming living situations: in a small, Scandinavian-looking village directly on campus - only a few steps away from the cafeteria and the faculties. 

The student village of Holzhausen is located on the university campus. It is operated by the Greifswald Student Union. Since the 1995/96 winter semester, 274 students have found ideal living conditions in fully furnished single and double rooms.

An application for a dormitory place in Holzhausen can be made on the homepage of the Studierendenwerk Greifswald .
The application is to be sent to the Studierendenwerk.

In the historic city center of Stralsund and in the immediate vicinity of the campus, further modernized buildings are available as dormitories.
