Founded by the most important institutions of the city of Milan in 2007, Milano Fashion Institute is the Fashion and Luxury School of Management for Fashion Specialists participated by Camera Nazionale Della Moda Italiana in partnership with Italian and International Universities. A qualified and unique learning experience, at an international level with a specific goal: the development of an interdisciplinary training center of excellence.

EXPERIENCING THE WORKPLACE
All over the year, MFI Masters provide a full calendar of activities in direct contact with the job market, including team field projects with real case studies in collaboration with leading companies, company visits, itinerant seminars, guest speeches, as well as internships, lasting a minimum of 3 months, one of the most salient experiences offered by the Masters. An extensive network of companies is involved in order to create the ideal setting for effective contact with the job market.
INCUBATOR OF TALENTS
Masters are addressed to student profiles, mainly aged between 22 and 29 years, both Italians and foreigners with a good knowledge of the English language. Students must have a B.A., MSc. or equivalent in order to apply and have to pass a preliminary selection process in order to be accepted.

SELECTION PROCESS
After receiving the Application Form, Milano Fashion Institute carries out a pre-selection. Subsequently, the Academic Committee will inform if the Application is suitable / or not. If eligible, The applicant must attend an oral interview. For international students distance interviews are allowed. After the interview final results (admission or non admission) will be communicated by 5 working days. The process usually requires a period of 3 to 6 weeks. We, therefore, invite the candidates to submit their applications as soon as possible.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
In order to apply for the admission to the Milano Fashion Institute Master Programs, the candidate must have:
1. Degree equal to or higher then a Bachelor of Art, Master of Art or Master of Science. It is not necessary to have previously attended a fashion related course.
2. Intermediate level of English knowledge. Certifications are not required. The language knowledge will be tested during the interview with the Academic Committee.
SELECTION CRITERIA
The selection is based on the evaluation of several factors, including skills, knowledge, competences and pre-requisites of the applicant. Motivation that led the candidate to apply will be also considered t.ogether with his/her level of involvement in the training project and future career aspirations.
Accommodation
The indicative cost of living in Milan is similar to that of the main European cities. Candidates must consider an average figure of € 800 - 1,000 for personal expenses, divided as follows: € 400-500 for accommodation; € 200 - 300 for meals; € 50 for local transportation; € 150 for miscellaneous costs.
Securing accommodation is one of the most important aspects of your time in Milan.
We kindly ask you to consider your accommodation here in Milan several weeks prior to your arrival at MFI. Non-EU students should be aware that proof of accommodation may be necessary in order to complete an application for a student visa.
Prices for a private room in a shared apartment range from € 400.00 to € 500.00 per month. Please note you will also be required to pay a deposit of one to three months’ rent when you sign the contract. Always ask for a signed receipt of payment.
