Welcome to Curtin Singapore, one of Curtin University’s global campuses. Curtin is ranked in the top 1% of universities worldwide in the highly regarded Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) 2021. We offer the same curriculum across all our locations which means students gain an education that is internationally recognised for its quality and which prepares them for their future careers. Many of the courses we offer are also accredited by the relevant national and international professional associations.
We are building strong partnerships with government, industry and the community to help inform our teaching and research. This will enable us to ensure that our courses, the co-curricular activities that support student learning outside the classroom and our research build capacity and address issues that are relevant to Singapore and the region.
We are also building our research capability through applied research at Curtin Singapore and through our partnerships with key stakeholders and across our global network of campuses. Our focus is on addressing key opportunities, challenges and emerging issues in Singapore and the ASEAN region.

Overall Responsibility
The overarching responsibility for ensuring the currency and appropriateness of the designated culture lies with the Executive Committee. In addition, the Executive Committee has responsibility for ensuring the incorporation of the Curtin Singapore culture throughout the various organisational departments.
Process
Induction of staff
Each new staff member shall undertake an induction process at the commencement of their employment which will include details of the desired culture of the campus. It is expected that staff who have contact with students or external parties are fully aware of the desired culture.
Reinforcement of the culture
The Executive Committee shall establish a process to review the understanding of staff of the desired culture on a regular basis – not less than six-monthly. This will include such matters as regular meetings of staff to reinforce the importance of the Curtin Singapore culture.

Admission criteria
Assessment for entry to a course at Curtin Singapore is based on, but not limited to, the following criteria
- Academic entry requirements
- English language proficiency
Undergraduate
If you want to apply for an undergraduate course, you must satisfy academic entry requirements and English language competency requirements. You must also meet specific course prerequisites. Check the individual entry requirements for your course on the courses website.
Postgraduate
If you are interested in a postgraduate course, you must have completed a degree from a recognised university and show proficiency in the English language. You may also be required to meet specific course prerequisites. You can check the specific entry requirements for your course on the courses website.
Alternative pathways
If you don’t meet the University’s minimum entry requirements for your chosen course, consider taking a Curtin College diploma or Navitas English program to help you to obtain the prerequisites you need.
Accommodation
Campus & facilities
Our new campus is co-located with industry at the Alpha building within the Science Park 2 precinct (part of the Greater Southern Waterfront development), which is a thriving hub for learning, innovation and research. Located 15 minutes from the Singapore central business district, students will have access to a wide range of facilities that make student life more convenient and productive. Lifestyle facilities include student lounges and food outlets, while academic facilities such as the library, campus-wide wireless internet and computer labs to support students’ learning experience.
