Canadore College is ideally situated in North Bay, Ontario – equal distance from Toronto and Ottawa. The College is located in a small and safe city amidst a beautiful natural setting. Admission


If English is not your first language you must either provide proof of English competency or take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS). You must have a minimum overall band score of 5.5 on IELTS, or a minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper based) or 213 (computer scored) or 80 IBT (internet based) to be admitted to a postsecondary program at the college. SPP in India requires a minimum of IELTS 6.0.

Accommodation


All first-year students are guaranteed a spot in residence. Canadore has three residences that accommodate 533 students – townhouse style residences located directly beside the College Drive Campus, an apartment-style residence at the bottom of College Drive and a loft-style residence complex in the heart of downtown North Bay. All residences provide single rooms, allowing students to have personal space. A brand new residence is opening this year to accommodate an additional 200 students.
