From their early beginnings as a community college in 1967, Conestoga has risen to become one of Canada's leaders in polytechnic education and is one of only nine Polytechnic Institutes in Canada.
Conestoga offers small classroom sizes and hands-on, project based learning in the following areas of study - Health and Life Sciences and Community Services, Business and Hospitality, Engineering and Information Technology, Media and Design, Language, Culture and Communications, and Trades and Apprenticeships. Conestoga offers a wide variety of programming from certificates to four-year bachelor degree programs.
In order to be accepted to a Conestoga College program, you must:
1. Meet the program admission requirements
2. Provide proof of English proficiency in one of the following ways:
6.0 IELTS (with no band less than 5.5)
80 TOEFL
(INCLUDING Practical Nursing Diploma)
6.5 IELTS (with no band less than 6.0)
88 TOEFL

If you do not have the English language skills for direct entry into full-time post-secondary programs, you may choose to enter Conestoga's English for Academic Studies (EAS) program.

Each English level is 4 months in duration and the length of time to complete the English program varies by student depending on effort and aptitude for learning the language.
Homestay is a program that matches international students with local host families to live with while studying at Conestoga.
Conestoga College partners with Canada Homestay Network Inc. (CHN) to administer our Homestay program.
Includes:
• a private bedroom
• food for three meals per day and
• the opportunity to live with a Canadian family
Cost:
Effective September 1, 2017, homestay fees will be $825 for four weeks with a minimum eight-week placement required, plus a $220 placement fee.

Residence is open for short-term stay during the summer (May 5 – August 19, 2017). The cost for a suite with two private bedrooms (max four people in one suite) is as follows:
