Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) is proud to welcome students from around the world to become a vital part of our inclusive, global learning community. We realize that by welcoming, sharing and celebrating our differences–in culture, language and values–we are able to better achieve AUM’s mission of providing quality and diverse educational opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students. You can choose from an on-campus experience in Montgomery, Alabama, distance learning, or a combination.

Why AUM?

Because every day we get to help people like you unlock your potential and achieve your goals. But you have a bunch of colleges to choose from, so why us?

  • An affordable, world-class education in Alabama’s capital city
  • A vibrant campus life with more than 60 clubs and organizations, intramural sports, and NCAA athletics
  • 90 undergraduate and graduate degrees
  • Small class sizes that link you with professors and experience/research opportunities quickly both on-campus and online
  • A cool, green campus with 500 wooded acres that include hiking trails, open areas, and disc golf.
  • A wellness center that promotes healthy lifestyles and features workout equipment, olympic pool, rock wall, basketball courts, sand volleyball, indoor track, and many exercise classes.
  • Need a static map to the right of all these wonderful attributes.

Excellent Academics

With over 90 degree programs, AUM ranks among the top universities in the Southeastern U.S. by U.S. News and World Report. In addition to detailed academics, we prioritize practical learning from faculty members who have hands-on experience in their field. In the College of Business, for example, students learn from faculty members who were former managers of Fortune 500 companies, renowned economists, certified public accountants, researchers, and software developers. Students can also gain real-world experience by participating in internships at area companies.
