To be admissible to the University of Pacific, you must meet both the basic requirements for admission and your program’s specific admission requirements. Program admission requirements are listed on each program page. Entry requirements vary by program track and graduate level. Please contact an advisor for more detail.
Due to state & county health guidelines and ongoing pandemic concerns, the university needs to significantly reduce on-campus housing occupancy for the spring 2021 semester. Very limited housing will be available based upon significant need.
Students requesting on-campus housing should be cautioned that campus life will look very different than a typical campus experience.
Students living on campus for spring 2021 are required to have a copper meal plan as a minimum requirement. The Marketplace located in the DeRosa University Center (DUC) will be the only available on campus dining during spring 2021.

A variety of housing options means the opportunity for you to live comfortably with your peers. First-year students live with other first-year students so that building a community and lifelong friendships is built into your experience. By living on campus, you'll receive a tremendous amount of support from our entire staff, including our Resident Assistants, who are other students committed to helping you make the best of your Pacific experience. We want you to feel at home at Pacific, and we'll do whatever we can to ensure that you do.
Benefits of living at Pacific
Not only do you have a variety of great housing options to choose from, you also will reap plenty of benefits from living on campus. Students who live on campus tend to have higher GPAs and graduation rates and tend to be more connected to the Pacific and local community. And you have the added benefit of happy, positive memories to take with you when you leave. We mean it when we say we'll go above and beyond to care for you and provide excellent support and service.
Upper Division Accommodations
Upper Division Housing includes residents on campus that are in the academic standing of a junior, senior, post-baccalaureate, graduate or professional student.
Furnishings All Upper Division apartments are furnished with a Twin XL bed (adjustable height), wardrobe/closet, dresser, desk with drawers and desk Chair. Apartments also include a 3/4 size refrigerator/freezer, oven and stove, kitchen table with chairs, or kitchen counter with seating and stools, coffee table/TV stand and sofa seating.
Meal Plan Students residing in the Upper Division communities are required to have a minimum of Bronze Meal Plan. Students are able to increase to the Copper, Silver, Gold, or Platinum Meal Plan.
Laundry As part of your Housing rate, you are provided Tiger Wash credits to do laundry on-campus. The Community Laundry Rooms can be found on the main floor of each building.

Chan Family Hall has four-bedroom, two-bathroom units located on Brookside Road, between Monagan Hall and the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. The 50 furnished four-person, four-bedroom apartments are reserved for upper-division students. This housing for the School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences students and other graduate-level students.
The McCaffrey Center Apartments are two-story units which are centrally located on campus just south of the DeRosa Center. The McCaffrey Center Apartment contain 3 bedrooms designed for 3 students. The first floor has the kitchen, dining room, living room and one bedroom with two additional bedrooms and the bathroom located on the second floor.
Monagan Hall is comprised of 50 four-bedroom, two-bathroom units located on Brookside Road, between Cowell Wellness and Chan Family Hall. The furnished four-person, four-bedroom apartments are reserved for students with junior and senior standing
Townhouse Apartments are two-story units which are located on the corner of Pershing Avenue and Brookside Road near Calaveras Hall. The first floor has the kitchen, dining room, and living room with the sleeping areas and bathroom located on the second floor. There are two apartment options:
(1) Two-bedroom/ three-students - one shared room (Bed Space A and B) and one private room (Bed Space C)
(2) One-bedroom/ two-students - one shared room (Bed Space A and B)
The Townhouse Apartments is separated into three sections, each with their own community laundry room. The Apartment complex includes a community room, sand volleyball court, and a pool.
