The Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) is a government institute offering tertiary education programmes. SIT is located in Invercargill, New Zealand with smaller campuses in Queenstown and Christchurch. SIT programmes are accredited and approved by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority up to postgraduate level. SIT has a proud history of providing students with quality education across a range of subject areas including Business, IT, Sports, Health Sciences, Engineering, Trades, Hotel Management, Hospitality, Digital Media and Creative Arts.SIT has around 13,000 full and part-time students and is a warm, welcoming institution. We are renowned for our southern hospitality and unique outdoors full of adventure and recreational opportunities through to extreme sports challenges.
