Since the creation of the Cours Florent in 1967, François Florent, founder of the school, pedagogue and passionate man of theater, had at heart to invent an innovative pedagogy based on a specific and personalized teaching which would allow to hatch the personality of every student.
Today, Cours Florent, led by Frédéric Montfort, continues this initiative initiated fifty years ago. The Cours Florent now offers a multidisciplinary artistic education focused on the training of the actor of theater, cinema, musical comedy and music.
The Cours Florent provides professional training of high level provided by experienced professionals. Their educational diversities serve a rich and demanding program. Each student will find the answer to his artistic questioning and the tools of his future profession.
The list of elders is eloquent: Daniel Auteuil, Emmanuelle Devos, Gad Elmaleh, William Gallienne, Sandrine Kiberlain, Diane Kruger, Laurent Lafitte, Vincent Lindon, Pierre Niney, Denis Podalydes, Audrey Tautou ... All have "done" the Cours Florent .
Exams, competitions, shows, workshops and masterclasses punctuate the training course.
Today's student must strive for a complete mastery of his art. The Cours Florent offers courses in singing, dancing, diction, mask, voice and body work, improvisation as well as interpretation classes in English and German.
Whatever the desired direction - theater , cinema , musical comedy or music - the student will find in each specialty professional quality coaching.
Meeting of film, advertising or theater personalities, proposals and visits of directors of castings, artistic agents and production company, our Casting Office accompanies the students throughout their training.
Courses
Admission
Internships and auditions are the gateways to integrate the courses in theater, cinema, musical and current music of Cours Florent.
To join the Cours Florent actor training, you can sign up for a theater , cinema , game in English or improvisation workshop . These courses, open to everyone from the age of 17, are aimed at beginners and end with a hearing that will decide on the student's admission to the training cycle.
For candidates who have undergone previous training in acting, auditions are organized by appointment in the year.
Candidates admitted over 35 years of age will be received by the Director of Pedagogy to validate their enrollment in the training course.
Admissions for Cours Florent Musical Comedy , Cours Florent Acting in English and Cours Florent Musique are also done via an internship or audition.
Registration for Cours Florent Jeunesse (children and teens) theater classes is available on our website before each school year.
You can also register online at an internship if you want to prepare for your return to the training of the actor in 2018.
